DS-005 Designer Perforated Metal Sheet
For decorative facade panels, branded interior screens, and visible architectural cladding, DS-005 uses Carbon Steel (CS), Cold Rolled (CR), Mill Finish and Straight Centers, 1" Designer, 1-3/4" centers to define a tighter purchase specification than a plain catalogue sheet.
Its 40% open area balances airflow and visibility while leaving enough web for many guarding layouts; engineering review should also reference 40% open area, 20 Gauge (.0359" Thick) max thickness, 0.67 Lbs./Square Foot sheet weight.
The carbon steel base is practical for welding, forming, and later coating when the drawing calls for cost-controlled fabrication.
Use it in Sheet with Sheared Through Both and 36" x 24"; 36" x 96" (Cut Sizes Available); quotation checks should confirm cut edges, flatness, and finish protection before production release.
