Tree of Light International Perforation Art Center
The Tree of Light art center in London uses a double-skin anodized aluminum perforated facade to create a backlit tree pattern and showcase perforated metal craft.
The Challenge
The cultural building needed an expressive facade that served as both architecture and art while handling varying perforation density, night lighting, and weather exposure.
Our Solution
Custom anodized aluminum panels with circular and hexagonal perforations were arranged parametrically from 15% to 60% open area with integrated LED backlighting.
