A large coal yard and power plant in Northwest China installed blue perforated windbreak panels to reduce dust from open-air coal and bulk material storage.
The Challenge
Complex mountainous terrain and frequent strong winds caused severe dust pollution, material loss, and environmental pressure around the open-air storage yard.
Our Solution
A reinforced concrete base, galvanized steel trusses, and blue perforated windbreak panels were combined to weaken wind energy and reduce leeward wind speed.
